The singular identifying characteristic of a high control group is that they provide another voice one must listen to - for Salvation.
Salvation is thru one man (Jesus Christ), not 8 men! (The GB)
John 10:27 - "My sheep listen to my voice; and they follow me."
Acts 4:12 - "Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
Psalm 146:3 - "Don't put your trust in human leaders; no human being can save you."
